History of our Group
1994
The journey for the Company started in March 1994. The founder and major shareholder, Russom Teame, for the Group of Companies launched G.M.G International Trading in March 1994 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The acronym (G.M.G) was in memory of the founder’s brother named Mr. Ghirmay and his cousins Mr. Mahrai and Mr. Ghebremichael who had sacrificed their lives for the Eritrean Independence).

1998
In June 1998, the Company was forced to cease its operations in Ethiopia due to the border conflict between Ethiopia & Eriteria. It was then re-established in Asmara, Eritrea in January 1999 as G.M.G International Trading Plc.

2003
In March 2003, G.M.G – Congo was incepted to explore the D.R. Congo market and started operations in 2004.

In June 2005, Reamna International FZCO was founded in Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates by Russom Teame Ghebremedhin and Askalu Yeibyo Tsegay.
